Problems of navigation safety of oil transportation in the Arctic shelf of Russia

The paper considers some variants of identified ship mathematical models as basis of forecasting algorithms. The algorithms have been used for forecasting of ship maneuvering when the navigator produces some definite control actions and for generating informational resources which meet the requirements of resolutions of the International Marine Organisation.

Structure and principles of dynamic positioning systems' work

The foundations of movable vessel’s position data proceeding from two distant GPS-receivers has been considered in the work. The method of filtering inadequate measurements by comparison the distance (obtained in measurements) between GPS-receivers with known in advance diversity value has been worked out in the paper.

Problems of functioning, safety and quality of operation of vessels with dynamic control systems

The paper contains the analysis of structure and principles of work of a dynamic positioning system as a high-tech control complex. The problems of increasing of reliability of dynamic positioning systems during development of the Arctic continental shelf have been considered.
